What People Think of Chiropractic

when many people think of chiropractic, they think of cracks, clicks, pops, and ultimately…pain.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

so when i then go on to share that one of my favorite populations to serve is that of children and babies, i usually have to exert some serious strength to help them lift their jaw up off of the floor, guiding them back to a homeostatic state of nasal breathing as opposed to mouth breathing (more on that another time).

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

at the inside space, we are nervous system focused. and last i checked, anyone who is breathing and has a beating heart, does in fact, live their life through their nervous system.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

it is our job to make sure that brain and body are communicating the very best that they can—or as we say to our little ones in our office, we want to help brain and body to be better friends. everyone tends to think that that sounds pretty good.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

as this happens, of course symptoms clear, sleep is sounder, poop is more consistent, breastfeeding is better for the mom and baby diad, and tantrums decrease.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

while all of this is great, we are here for so much more—we are here to ensure that these quickly growing humans are able to express as much life as possible, uninhibited by dis-ease, stress, and the weight of the world.
